Master all three pillars of nonprofit leadership in 12 months: build a 100% fundraising board, multiply your revenue, and confidently run ANY nonprofit.

Does this sound like you?

You feel dropped in the deep end with no user manual. You aren’t getting the support to thrive like you need.

You’re overwhelmed.

Your staff, board and donors all want you to be confident, competent and strong but you worry that if you show weakness, it will come back to haunt you.

You’re isolated and alone.

Your job is swallowing your life, leaving you burned out and almost broke, but you know there’s a better way.

You’re burned out.

You have lists of fundraising tips and best practices, but no time to implement them. You dread making “the ask.” Your board is on your back to raise more money - but won’t lift a finger to help.

You struggle with fundraising.

And instead you want…

Fundraising that is effortless, where donors, foundations, and sponsors almost throw money at you, so you have money to pay all the bills and all the people, and sleep well at night.

An engaged board that raises money, stays in its lane, and supports you.

To stop doubting your training, instincts, and abilities and take your place at the head of the table with confidence.

Sustainable leadership that pays you, protects you, and gives you work-life balance.

Rich, powerful, and famous folks to see your nonprofit and beat down the door to be involved.

The "Fixer Files" - the tools.

Over the past 30+ years, I’ve led five nonprofit organizations as executive director. I’ve seen the good, the bad, the ugly, and the life-changing.

I learned a lot of lessons the hard way. And yes, I made more than a few mistakes on my own journey.

When I was first a new executive director, I stepped into a shitstorm. The board was absent. Money was hemorrhaging. There was no roadmap or manual. I was alone, isolated, and felt unsupported in my first executive director role. The 2008 financial crisis only compounded the chaos.

I could have run from the stress and been justified in aiming for less in my life. But like you, I wanted to be a changemaker. I wanted to be a leader.

I sought out help, support, and training. I built my own tools and resources, created my own support groups. It wasn’t easy, but it worked.

I learned how to thrive in nonprofit leadership—and cut through the dysfunction that leaves so many of us ready to walk away. Now, I’m committed to helping other nonprofit leaders do the same.

You don’t need to be broke and burned out to make a difference.

I believe that when you dedicate your career to service, you deserve to love your work and your life. That’s why I created the Fixer Fellowship.

Implementation sessions

We’ll create a cadence of regular implementation sessions, including who should attend and how often.

The frequency of sessions will be customized to your retainer package, but the most common approach is two to four hour-long sessions per month.

The implementation sessions are built around creating forward progress and momentum, while also creating space for problem-solving as challenges or fresh needs arise.

Accountability systems

In between sessions, you’ll have specific homework that will move your team toward the goals we’ve set in a way that is not overwhelming. You’ll get guidance on the tools and tactics to use, so you’re moving forward with intention and strategy rather than trying everything and ending up scattered and ineffective.

Our cadence of implementation sessions provide build-in accountability and feedback mechanisms.

If you or your team struggle to complete a task or tactic, we’ll dig into why and then identify the missing pieces that will enable your organization to move forward.

Tools, courses, and curriculum

You’ll have access to an unparalleled set of tools and self-paced courses—but you’ll get step-by-step guidance for choosing which resource to use and when. Here’s a preview of the tools you’ll have at your fingertips:

  • The Fixer Files

  • Fundraising Course

  • Fundraising Power Pack eBook

Wonder if This Will Work for You Specifically?

You can’t fail in my program because I won’t let you. If you implement what I teach you, you will get value now and for years to come.

Price

This program is incredibly affordable for 12 months of access to world-class tools, training, curriclum, coaching, and support. Plus, because the Fixer Fellowship combines executive coaching and fundraising coaching, the program is designed to pay for itself by helping you raise more money for your nonprofit.

Timing

You get an entire year to engage with the curriculum, get support, and transform yourself and your organization.

Investment

You are worth this. Every workplace invests in leadership, training, professional development, and support. You and your employer want results. That comes from making an investment in yourself, your career, your future earnings, your fundraising skills, and your confidence. One donor or funder could easily cover the one-time cost of this powerful program.

Board and Budget

Boards are usually very warm to coaching, as long as you can pay for it. I show leaders how to pay for coaching easily without cutting into existing revenue streams. I have a sample letter you can use to make the case to your board for this investment.

Busy

Coaching is one hour every other week. Most coachees say it is their favorite hour on their calendar. They finally get confidential time to feel supported, vent, and get help. Good coaching saves you time. You’ll stop wasting time, money, and energy on tactics that fail or backfire. Stop spinning your wheels. Get support!

Past Coaching Didn’t Work

I guarantee you I am not like your last coach. Few, if any, people have the breadth and depth and passion that I do. Few have the curriculum, tools, and war stories like I do.

Not a Full-time ED

Even if you are not paid, not full-time, or not an executive director yet, coaching gives you the upper hand to land the job, raise the money and get clarity on your job once and for all.

The Nonprofit Fixer Fellowship is Perfect for…

Established nonprofit executive directors

Nonprofit Nerds who just want to learn how to run ANY nonprofit

Nonprofit Founders

New nonprofit leaders

Board leaders

Aspiring nonprofit leaders

Many coaches don’t give advice to nonprofit leaders because they are not experts or because they have never been in the trenches of nonprofit work. I think that’s BS. You came for results, not therapy and repeat-backs.

If you are ready for real-talk (supportive but clear), the Fixer Fellowship is for you.

Imagine leading your nonprofit with less stress, more money, less dysfunction, and powerful results.

This allows way more customization, time, depth, focus, and problem-solving. It comes at a higher cost because you get me all to yourself.

This can actually be a very good thing because, in addition to getting my eyes and ears on your leadership journey, you also get to engage the advice and support of your peers. Many people love group coaching, especially executive directors, because you get to build a community of your peers, which is HIGHLY valuable.
